Happy Friday, friends! Earlier this season I decided to pull my ‘save for inspo’ styling sessions from Instagram to the blog. Ya’ll seemed to love the share so today’s post is a long overdue recap of my weekly features in September and October. These ‘save for inspo’ features have truly brought my creativity to life and hopefully have provided you a great source of style inspiration. Maybe you’ve a piece you just aren’t sure how to style, or you’ve had your eye on an item and aren’t fully convinced it’s worth adding to your closet. Whichever the case, I’ve highlighted 7 seasonal basics to inspire style creativity, versatility, and help in that closet selection process.
Seasonal basics have been the focus these past couple of months. They are staple items that you simply cannot live without and have proven an essential foundation for a stylish wardrobe. I’ve also featured a few pieces typically worn in Summer and have shown ways to transition them into Fall. Below you’ll find 7 seasonal basics and their ways of wear. As in all ‘save for inspo’ features I’ve pulled the inspiration from past photos at start and follow with ways to wear them now.
1. Utility jacket

When I think of Fall fashion, plaid comes to mind. A plaid flannel button up is probably the most versatile shirt one can own for Fall. Here I’ve styled it 12 different ways!
4. Denim skirt
Another piece typically styled in Summer, a denim skirt is a fun transitional piece to hold in closet and gives us ability dress up our casual a bit. This Everlane denim skirt fits all the reqs.
