Happy Friday, babes! It’s been a few weeks since I’ve shared a styling session post. If you follow me on stories, you’ve seen me style this denim skirt a couple ways — today I thought to add a few more looks to prove it closet worthy.

I’ll admit, tho I own an obscene amount of denim, I only own one denim skirt! I’ve owned a few in my younger years, but time and trend has passed, leaving them far from age appropriate.

With warm months ahead, I thought to give this classic another go-round. As you know, I envision ways to wear before every purchase. This skirt was no different. It didn’t take long to conclude it flattering, comfortable, and like most denim, very versatile. If you’ve got your eye on this skirt – I feel it runs large.  I sized down 1 size and after wear, it stretches some.

4 ways to style a denim skirt

With a printed tank // Denim is a timeless fabric, one that fits well in the casual category. If you’re a “t-shirt and jeans” kinda gal, this look suits you! Here I took a fun everyday floral tank, knotted it and thru on a pair of casual espadrille sandals.

With a bodysuit // I think this look is my favorite of all the looks! If you do not own a body suit – I highly recommend grabbing one (or a few)! They eliminate the constant re-tuck of any tank with seamless result. They also look really good with skirts! Here I wore a solid black bodysuit, added a blazer and pop of leopard to complete the look.

With a button down shirt // Any button down shirt will do. I think this look defines casual chic well, don’t you? You could easily pair it with a more dressy heel in the office, and switch it out for the casual espadrille thereafter.

Dressed down casual // This look, imo, proves it closet worthy. Paired with a graphic tee and sneakers?
My kinda style! Here I knotted my tee in the front, tho it would look cute as a side or back knot, or even tucked in! Added some matching perforated slides and I am set for an afternoon of casual errands or baseball game!

In as little as four looks, you’ve seen how easy it is to dress up and down this new favorite.
